Meaning: Intelligence, talent, a man of genius, a genius

Aim: Formscan is an established IT company originally founded to deliver scanning and micro fiche services to businesses and public services. Over the last 5 years the company has acquired some additional businesses and formed new services based around secure business document management and interaction combining ID and fraud detection. With this new change in direction and expansion of services Formscan had found both its name and brand had become a barrier to sales and changing understanding of what the business was truly about.

Solution: In combination with PMM strategies a discovery phase was developed to understand Formscan and its clients. Once done I ran workshops with the client for name generation and branding before delivering a range of renaming solutions followed by a re-brand process that delivered the new branding over a 3 month period. The new icon for the logo describes the ever changing flow, connection, access and non access to data manage by Engeneum.

Results: A cohesive and strong brand that displays a strong corporate feel which is immediately recognisable and gives the company more gravitas. The response has been extremely positive from both clients and partner companies.
